The goal of this course is to examine and effectively implement the school
improvement planning process to enable improvement in instruction, to
identify and target resources and to build capacity.

- For Superintendents: Examine models for facilitating district and school improvement planning
that meets DOE criteria and improves performance. Access DOE templates for district and school improvement Determine
level pf improvement Exchange consensus strategies and ownership Build community involvement Provide a forum for
building capacity in principals Examine role of supervision
- For Principals: Learn strategies to align schools to state and district standards Examine models
for moving improvement plans toward teaching and learning Build capacity within school leaders and
teachers Leverage resources and others
Costs: $400 per person. add $300 for each
additional team member.
